Theoretical Chemistry at Wake Forest University
A fundamental understanding of radiation-molecule and molecule-molecule interactions is sought using the theory of quantum electrodynamics (QED). Example phenomena studied include absorption, emission and scattering of light, resonance energy transfer, Casimir-van der Waals forces, and radiation-induced inter-particle interactions.
